The Strategic Senior Sales OR Account Executivemanages and grows the SI-Buildings business in the Columbus, Ohio area for a high-profile account. Identify customer needs, develop sales strategies to address customer objectives, and develop solutions to help clients improve their facilities, operations, and profitability.
As the Strategic Senior Sales OR Account Executive, you will:
Single Point of Contact and Coordination:Ensure this representative can effectively coordinate Siemens resources and act as the main liaison. Maintain executive, C-level relationships within the identified account, identify and qualify sales leads individually and with cross-divisional offering segments (Automation, Fire, Security, Mechanical), and develop and implement sales strategies and a customer-specific sales plan.
Develop Strong Relationships:Focus on building and maintaining strong relationships with the Customer's Design and Construction teams. Continue to grow the relationship with the Facility team.
Customer Relations:Assist in customer billing and collections and ensure high customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle. Work with Marketing to develop customer communications and outreach programs to promote Siemens projects and services. Team-sell with other salespeople when appropriate and mutually beneficial.
Digital Agreements and Service Optimization:Provide opportunities for digital service agreements and leverage the resources within Siemens grow contract base.
Energy Projects:Target energy projects directly with end users and through Siemens partners.
Long-term Planning:Establish 3-, 5-, and 10-year plans with the Customer.
Establish Customer Alignment Sessions:Complete needs assessments, financial justifications, and related proposals and presentations. Prepare sales activity reports, forecast reports, and expense tracking. Local travel up to 70% with 10% allocated for remote travel for training.

You will make an impact with these qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma or state-recognized GED
Sr. Sales Executive 3+ years of executive consultative selling experience providing complex solutions and/or financial transactions that underwrite construction (e.g., underwriting bonds)
Account Executive 7+ years of executive consultative selling experience providing complex solutions and/or financial transactions that underwrite construction (e.g., underwriting bonds)
Must be able to demonstrate:Proficiency in value-selling solutions and services at this commercial or corporate level

Ability to plan, navigate, and negotiate sales processes
Understanding of customer business and drivers
Organizational, presentation, and negotiation skills
Verbal and written communication skills in English
Experience with Microsoft Office suite • Must be 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in marketing or business
Proficiency with Salesforce CRM
Demonstrated involvement in any of the following is considered a plus:Software, IoT, and networking experience
Expertise in account management
Familiarity with Building Automation, Fire, and Security Systems
Experience with engineering and/or Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) developers

The pay range for this position is $59,430 - $124,080 year Plus an uncapped commission structure. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
