The Commerce Strategy & Operations team reports to the COO and drives business decisions across post-purchase operations, logistics, payments, user experience, trust, and fraud.
In this role you will:
Develop and implement commerce strategies that drive margin optimization and/or growth across the post-purchase experienceManage cross-functional commerce projects in close partnership with the product and engineering teamsIdentify inefficiencies in processes and implement improvements to enhance productivity/reduce costsAnalyze commerce data to provide insights and recommendationsNegotiate contracts and manage vendor performance to ensure quality and cost-effectivenessTeam members in this role are required to be within commuting distance of our New York, NY, Los Angeles, CA, or San Francisco, CA hubs.

As our next Commerce Strategy & Operations Manager you should have:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; MBA preferred7+ years of experience in strategy and operations roles (eg consulting, finance, GM, Operations)Excellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong understanding of commerce operations and process optimizationProficient in data analysis and reporting toolsExceptional leadership and team management skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to think strategically and execute methodicallyExperience with SQL and analytics tools like Looker, Sigma, Hex is a plusFor US-based applicants: $160,000/year to $210,000/year + benefits + equity
The salary range may be inclusive of several levels that would be applicable to the position.
Final salary will be based on a number of factors including, level, relevant prior experience, skills, and expertise.
This range is only inclusive of base salary, not benefits (more details below) or equity.
