Job Overview: As a Strategy Manager at FreeWheel, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the direction of our business and go-forward strategy. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategic initiatives that drive growth, innovation, and competitive advantage. Your work will help optimize our product offerings, improve market positioning, and ensure we deliver value to advertisers, publishers, and consumers in a rapidly evolving industry. Job Description Key Responsibilities: Strategic Planning: Develop and refine short- and long-term strategies that align with business objectives, market trends, and customer needs in the ad tech ecosystem. Proactively identify and address potential risks and challenges that could impact the organization's future. Innovation: Foster a culture of innovation by staying ahead of industry developments and advising leadership on emerging opportunities in the ad tech space. Cross-Comcast Collaboration : Drive and facilitate strategic partnerships and aligning objectives, opportunities and business deliverables across Comcast teams to achieve FreeWheel and Comcast business growth. Future Opportunities: Identifies, evaluates and recommends specific merger and acquisition opportunities; supports the execution of transactions and assists with managing the details of post-merger integration efforts. Including consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance. Market Analysis: Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation. Conduct comprehensive market research to identify emerging opportunities and potential challenges. Analyze industry trends and competitive landscapes to inform strategic decision-making. Develop and maintain long-term financial projections and forecasts. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that strategic initiatives are integrated and executed effectively. Data-Driven Insights: Leverage data analytics and customer insights to inform strategic decisions and optimize the company's approach to advertising technology. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, sales, marketing, and finance teams to ensure alignment and drive execution of strategic initiatives. Business Development: Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams to enhance market positioning and company growth. Executive Communication: Prepare reports, presentations, and recommendations for senior leadership, translating complex data and trends into actionable insights. Key Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. 7+ years of experience in strategy, business development, and consulting, ideally within the ad tech, digital marketing, or technology sectors. Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to interpret complex data and market trends. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously. Knowledge of the ad tech ecosystem, including programmatic advertising, CTV, data management platforms (DMPs), demand-side platforms (DSPs), supply-side platforms (SSPs), and ad servers. Exhibits solid financial literacy and decision-making capabilities Strategic thinker with a strong business acumen and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Experience building and delivering business cases Preferred Skills: Familiarity with data analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Google Analytics, etc.). Experience in developing go-to-market strategies and identifying / building position for growth strategies. Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus.
