As aStructural Engineerat DN Tanks, you will be responsible for executing designs and providing excellent and efficient technical support internally and externally from project development through tank construction.

Key ResponsibilitiesPerform structural analysis and design of new tank structures and rehabilitation/retrofit of existing tank structures in the water and wastewater industries.Review project requirements, plans, specifications, building codes and standards to provide complete, timely, efficient, accurate, safe and cost-effective submittals either through design or quality control reviews.Review design requirements for the tank and provide recommended changes to improve design and reduce cost from project development through tank construction.Communicate and coordinate with consultant engineers, suppliers and construction teams to resolve engineering-related questions and issues concerning the tank design in the best interest of DN Tanks and the client.Provide timely communication and reliable support to field personnel for all engineering aspects of tank construction.Perform periodic design compliance inspections on project sites.QualificationsBachelor of Science in Civil Engineering required; minor or emphasis in structural engineeringMasters in Civil /Structural Engineering preferredEngineering in Training (EIT) requiredProfessional Engineer (PE) preferred3 - 7 years of experience in Civil/Structural Engineering, preferably in the water/wastewater or related industry.
