As a Structural Engineer at DN Tanks, you will be responsible for executing designs and providing technical support from project development through tank construction.
A successful candidate must be both technically proficient and a great collaborator, along with being capable of supporting internal as well as external stakeholders.

\n Key ResponsibilitiesPerform structural analysis utilizing SAP2000 and SAFE and design of new tank structures and rehabilitation/retrofit of existing tank structures in the water and wastewater industries.Review project requirements, plans, specifications, building codes and standards to provide complete, timely, efficient, accurate, safe and cost-effective submittals either through design or quality control reviews.Review design requirements for the tank and provide recommended changes to improve design and reduce cost from project development through tank construction.Communicate and coordinate with consultant engineers, suppliers and construction teams to resolve engineering-related questions and issues concerning the tank design in the best interest of DN Tanks and the client.Provide timely communication and reliable support to field personnel for all engineering aspects of tank construction.Perform periodic design compliance inspections on project sites. QualificationsBachelor of Science in Civil Engineering required; minor or emphasis in structural engineeringMasters in Civil /Structural Engineering preferredEngineering in Training (EIT) requiredProfessional Engineer (PE) preferred3 - 7 years of experience in Civil/Structural Engineering, preferably in the water/wastewater or related industry. This is our good faith estimate of the base salary compensation range for this opportunity. Individual pay decisions will vary based upon the experience and qualifications of the applicant. This range is based on market rates and determined by considering many factors such as external market salary survey data, internal data for comparable roles, and the operational and budgetary objectives of the company.
