\nResponsibilities -Perform investigations, surveys, and testing of existing buildings to identify and diagnose deficiencies contributing to damage or deterioration. -Critically analyze plans, specifications, and calculations prepared by others. -Monitor the progress of projects, adhere to project requirements, and closely track budget and procedural standards. -Perform or review condition appraisals, and develop repair schemes and repair recommendations. -Complete and maintain all project documentation in project management software. -Coordinate engineers and technical personnel for projects in the office. -Maintain, market, and promote restoration and forensic engineering consulting services to new and existing clients. -Assist and train less experienced staff in a variety of roles. -Other duties as assigned. Qualifications and Competencies -Education Requirements: -Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering, Architecture, or similar. Other Requirements: -Professional license or ability to become licensed in architecture, structural engineering, or civil engineering. -5+ years of experience working and/or managing projects in the forensic and/or restoration fields. -Strong writing, communication, and team skills. -Experience in developing and maintaining client relationships. -Willingness to participate in field survey work, travel to project sites, and occasional travel for conferences.
