Community Education Program ManagerJob Summary:Our goal is to empower and support every individual in our community, regardless of their background or abilities, to achieve their dreams, contribute to the community, and continue learning throughout their lives. As a Community Education Program Manager, you will provide assistance and input to the Early Childhood & Family Education (EC&FE) Program Coordinator and staff. Your role will involve developing, administering, implementing, and evaluating our district-wide EC&FE programs. It is essential that you have a strong understanding of child and family development, excellent communication and computer skills, and the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.Duties Include:- Assist with the leadership and development of program areas- Recruit, train, and supervise non-licensed staff- Support ongoing community needs assessment work- Develop and implement a marketing and outreach plan based on community needs- Manage various grants and initiatives, including their development, implementation, and reporting- Handle data management and communication with stakeholders- Monitor program revenues and expenses, including tuition collection- Analyze enrollment data to inform future program needs- Assist with other Community Education program areas as needed or assigned Qualifications :- Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred, in Education, Business Administration, or a related field- 3+ years of relevant work experience in public school and/or community-based early childhood and family education programming preferred- 3+ years of experience supervising Community Education programs and staff preferredDesired:- Teaching license in parent education and/or early childhood- Experience teaching in ECFE or similar programs- Experience with home visiting and alignment from PreK to 3rd grade- Experience with outreach and/or marketing programs- Experience working with diverse populations- Experience working with families of low socio-economic statusSalary:Please refer to the salary grids on Pages 3-4, Section 1 of the Management Personnel I-M agreement for details.Work Schedule:Flexible core hours will be developed upon hire with supervisor approval. This is a full-time salaried position that includes summer hours.
