Responsibilities:
Execute subcontract management functions to support U.S. Government and Commercial Contracts by soliciting subcontractors for various award types.
Take a lead role in fact finding, proposal analysis, and risk assessment under the guidance of peers.
Manage both tactical and strategic aspects of subcontract relationships, interfacing with Program Management, Finance, and Contracts.
Issue modifications, prepare subcontractor correspondence, and manage Stop Work Orders as necessary.
Serve as the focal point for subcontractor performance, including RFP generation, deliverables tracking, payment review, and ensuring adherence to contractual terms.
Handle purchase order placement and file maintenance efficiently.
Monitor subcontractor performance and conduct completion assessments.
Develop sound business cases and analyze data effectively.
Demonstrate strong communication skills and a commitment to customer service.
Deploy a systematic approach to work, ensuring tasks are completed in a timely and organized manner.
Proactively manage tasks in a fast-paced environment, working with speed, agility, and thoroughness.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree with 1-3 years of experience OR High School diploma/equivalent with 5 years of experience in subcontracts management, contracts management, procurement, including proposal price/cost analysis.
Proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in creating, negotiating, and awarding both fixed price and cost-type subcontracts.
Working knowledge of FAR/DFARS regulations.
Experience interfacing with internal and external customers at all levels of management.
Proficiency in soliciting, evaluating, and documenting cost and price proposals.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Ability to learn and effectively apply new tools, processes, and procedures.
Capability to attain Security Clearance, as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Currently holding Secret or Top Secret Clearance.
Hybrid location based in Cambridge, Massachusetts, or Reston, Virginia.
