Job Description: Hampstead Pre-Owned is currently seeking a dedicated Subprime Finance Manager to join our team and help our customers with credit challenges secure the financing they need to purchase a vehicle. The Subprime Finance Manager will be responsible for managing and facilitating financing solutions for customers with less-than-perfect credit. This role involves working closely with customers, lenders, and dealership staff to create financing packages that meet both customer needs and dealership goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in subprime auto financing, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of closing deals. Job Duties/Responsibilities: Assist customers looking to purchase vehicles Acquire approvals from subprime lenders Maintain relationships with subprime banks and representatives Adhere to all banking and automotive regulations Submit paperwork for funding Optimize financial performance Structure and present financing deals to customers Negotiate finance terms to achieve the best possible outcomes for both the customer and the dealership Communicate with customers about their financing options before, during, and after the sale Qualifications(Certifications, Skills): Strong understanding of subprime lending processes, credit scoring, and automotive financing options Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills Familiarity with a customer centric financing approach Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently Familiarity with dealership management systems and financial software Detailed knowledge of all relevant state and local automotive finance laws and regulations Prior experience with subprime financing at a dealership Able to read, write, and speak Spanish proficiently (preferred) Experience: We are exclusively searching for Subprime Finance Managers with prior experience managing subprime financing deals at a car dealership.
