Ability to work one day per week remotely. Salary Range: Market competitive - based on experience level. Responsibilities:Arranges the coordination and delivery of statewide quarterly trainings for the Outreach Partner initiatives.Assesses the knowledge of, attitude toward, and behavior of individual staff and/or agencies regarding substance use disorders (SUD) and Medication for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD).Assists in the development or review of evaluation procedures.Designs and implements learning strategies which reflect adult learning theory.Participates in the organization of presentations for community events, conferences, and workshops as requested.Finds and summarizes content for bi-weekly newsletter.Proficient in PowerPoint, Canva, developing virtual learning presentations, facilitating virtual meetings and experience providing in-person presentations.Participates in the development of materials for patient population, providers, case managers, and ancillary staff in offices providing MOUD. Keeps abreast of all pertinent federal, state regulations, laws and policies as they presently exist and as they change or are modified.Communicates effectively with individuals or groups on health promotion and disease prevention.Required Skills:Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Health Studies, Social Sciences or a related discipline is required.Two (2) years of experience planning, developing and implementing educational programming and training to substance abuse outreach centers, office-based addiction treatment providers, shelters, and direct care staff. Ability to travel throughout City of Newark, Essex County, and areas in Northern NJ.Excellent public speaking skills and experience providing training and/or presentations in a professional setting.Excellent interpersonal skills, including the demonstrated ability to listen well and demonstrate sensitivity to and respect for diversity and individual needs.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel.Excellent critical thinking skills and ability to maintain privacy and neutrality.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Standing, sitting, walking, visual perception, talking and hearing. Lifting up to 20lbs. IMPORTANT NOTE: Vitalief partners with clients such as major medical centers and academic institutions that often require all on-site resources such as prospective Vitalief consultants to be inoculated annually for Influenza and successfully pass a Mantoux Tuberculin Skin Test (TST) for Mycobacterium Tuberculosis.
