The 2025 dsm-firmenich Summer Internship Program will begin June 9th,2025 and run through August 14, 2025
Our standard working hours are Monday – Friday (37.5 / 40 hours per week)

Your key responsibilities
Conduct safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
Development and implementation of safety training programs for employees.
Participate in risk assessments and hazard analyses to identify potential safety issues and recommend corrective actions.
Help maintain and update safety documentation, including Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and safety protocols.
Collaborate with the safety team to investigate incidents and near misses and assist in preparing detailed reports.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of safety processes and initiatives within the chemical manufacturing environment.

You Bring
Currently working on completion of a bachelor's degree in Environmental, Health & Safety or related field.
Candidates must be available to work full-time beginning on June 9, 2025 – August 14, 2025
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize and parse data.
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.
Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
