Your work will empower researchers and engineers to easily interact with and monitor complex supercomputing resources, focusing on usability and reliability.
We're looking for front-end engineers with experience building responsive, intuitive UIs for complex infrastructure or systems management platforms.
This role is based in San Francisco, CA. We use a hybrid work model of 3 days in the office per week and offer relocation assistance to new employees.
In this role, you will:Build front-end interfaces to manage and visualize job scheduling, allocation, and resource utilization in supercomputing clusters.Drive the usability, performance, and efficiency of our orchestration tools, ensuring they meet the demands of a high-performance computing environment.Collaborate closely with back-end and infrastructure teams to optimize UI interactions with job management APIs and data systems.Ensure secure and reliable access to orchestration resources.You might thrive in this role if you:Have a strong understanding of front-end frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue) and are skilled in creating intuitive, scalable UIs.Possess experience building dashboards or control interfaces for complex infrastructure, systems, or cloud environments.Are comfortable working with RESTful APIs and have experience with real-time data visualization.Familiarity with high-performance compute or job scheduling workflows is a plus.Enjoy a fast-paced, dynamic environment and are proactive in driving solutions forward.About OpenAIOpenAI is an AI research and deployment company dedicated to ensuring that general-purpose artificial intelligence benefits all of humanity.
