D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking a SuperintendentThe Superintendent will manage all functions of the job site related to home construction and provide excellent customer serviceThe Superintendent will oversee the construction of multiple homes from permit to closing

Responsibilities
• Plan and direct construction activities on the building site• Schedule subcontractors for each phase of development and construction• Complete each home site on schedule and ensure contract obligations are met• Approve subcontractor work and handle related issues• Ensure a safe work site and compliance with building codes and regulations• Complete checklists and schedule and pass inspections• Conduct homeowner orientation and address concerns• Enforce quality standards through daily inspections• Monitor subdivision cleanliness and manage subcontractors for clean-up• Schedule and manage subcontractors for warranty repairs• Follow up with homeowners to ensure timely resolution of concerns• Conduct business professionally and ethically• Ability to work additional hours as needed• Develop and maintain good relationships with subcontractors, homeowners, officials, and inspectors• Execute company policies and ensure compliance with quality standards• Suggest improvements within the system
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree or 3-5 years related experience• Ability to manage the '13 Milestones of Construction' specified in JDE• Must have a vehicle and valid driver's license• Ability to use DRH Construction applications• Proficiency with MS Office and email• Work effectively in high-pressure situations• Ability to communicate organizational policies and information to subordinates
