Your key responsibilities
Supervise and manage all international export and domestic transport & distribution activities for the Plainsboro, NJ site.
Monitor activity performance indicators under global logistics responsibility and take appropriate measures for improvements.
Manage non-conformances with carriers as well as customer experience team members.
Assist with the optimization of shop floor resources, objectives, and follow-up on individual performance.
Assist in the implementation of project plans based on site requirements within the OPS frame network.
Assist in the development of highly skilled shop floor personnel in the global logistics team and ensure organizational capabilities are in line with business needs.
Control operational expenses for the associated cost center budget.

You bring
Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with internal and/or external parties.
Problem-solving skills in a complex and fast-moving environment.
Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
Advanced computing skills in Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and SAP (R/3 and Business Warehouse).
At least 3-5 years of experience in shipping/logistics and the management of 3rd party logistics service providers.
Proven analytical, leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
