Cultivate well-being About the Role - We have an exciting opportunity for an Intensive Case Management (ICM) Supervisor to join our team of talented professionals. As an ICM Supervisor in the Adult Behavioral Health program, you will be responsible to oversee the delivery of intensive case management and hospital liaison services to adults who have been admitted to inpatient psychiatric facilities, those who have demonstrated a significant risk for psychiatric readmission and/or repeated use of emergency psychiatric services, those clients under court order to receive Assisted Outpatient Treatment and those deemed Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity. Regular working hours are Monday through Thursday 8:30 am to 7 pm, Friday 8:30 am to 5 pm and Saturday 9 am to 1 pm. Flexible scheduling is available. Some evening and/or weekend hours may be required based on program needs. Responsibilities - To qualify for this position, you will need the following: Candidates must possess a Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology or Counseling with a LMSW, LLP or LPC licensure from the State of Michigan. All state licensure must continually remain active, in effect, and free from disciplinary action. Specific experience working in a community mental health setting and knowledge of community resources is preferred. Candidates must be eligible for a Qualified Mental Health Professional at the time of hire and a Substance Abuse Treatment Specialist credential within 120 days of hire. Candidates must possess a CAADC credential, or be on an active, approved registered MCBAP certification Development Plan within six weeks of hire. The Development Plan application must be submitted to MCBAP with or without the required trainings within 30 days of hire. Documentation of required trainings may be submitted with the Development Plan Application or within 90 days of hire. A minimum of three (3) years of experience treating adults with mental health and/or substance use disorders is required. Candidates for this position must demonstrate excellent clinical assessment, triage and crisis intervention skills, and the ability to handle crisis situations in a calm and professional manner. Must demonstrate competency working collaboratively with clients, family members, agency staff and community partners. Must have the ability to work both independently and as a team member. Must have excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Must have excellent organizational skills and demonstrate an attention to detail necessary to track, prepare and report data. Additional requirements include a nonjudgmental approach that reflects cultural competency and sensitivity to the unique needs and diverse experiences of adults with mental illness and/or co-occurring substance use disorders and their families.
