Job Summary
Supervises the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the liquefication and vaporization processes . Monitors LNG plant components; recommends and purchases materials needed for operations and maintenance and directs repairs when needed. Plans, coordinates, and supervises plant preventative maintenance . Performs long - term planning and oversees repairs and improvements at the facility . Generates, tests, and periodically reviews standard operating procedures for plant process and equipment. Assesses and monitors staffing levels; performs interviews, hiring, promotions, terminations, employee evaluations and performance ratings . Coordinates and monitors the effective training of all personnel. Ensures compliance with state , federal and local regulations . Coordinates with measurement and gas control personnel to ensure reliable gas send - out. Maintains accurate records through electronic data systems. The knowledge, skills , abilities and experience required for entry into this job include the following: Bachelor ' s degree with S+ years of directly related experience OR Associate's degree with 7+ years of directly related experience OR High school diploma or GED with 9+ years of directly related experience. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Demonstrated knowledge of gas plant operations, including cryogenics, compression, pressure control, combustion, liquids storage and handling and human machine interfaces -Knowledge of natural gas pipeline regulations and procedures . Knowledge and experience in compliance systems, computer applications , federal codes and regulations, standard operating procedures and safety and environmental initiatives Ability to communicate standards - Knowledge of properties of natural gas -Demonstrated ability to lead and coach staff. Ability to make critical decisions independently and under pressure. -Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education:
