As the Supervisor of Behavioral Health Case Workers, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring that care management services meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. Under the guidance of the Manager, Integrated Care Management, you'll oversee the daily operations of the Behavioral Health Case Workers, providing clinical direction, organizational leadership, and rigorous monitoring of all care management delegation activities.
This is not just a supervisory role—it's a leadership opportunity where your expertise and vision will directly impact the quality of care members receive. You'll be at the forefront of ensuring your team meets all state requirements, while also driving the delivery of exceptional case management services. Your ability to provide clear guidance and oversight will be key to maintaining the integrity and effectiveness of the care management programs.
As the direct Supervisor of a skilled, remote / field based Team of Case Workers, you'll be responsible for monitoring productivity and documentation, mentoring staff, and ensuring they are aligned with the organization's goals and the stringent standards required by state regulations. You'll assist in executing the strategic plans and daily operations of the Behavioral Health Case Workers, always with an eye on improving processes and outcomes.
Qualifications / Education:
At least three (3)+ years of Behavioral Health clinical practice experience, a Bachelor's Degree of Science in Nursing (BSN), and an unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in South Carolina, along with any other states in which you operate.
Must have at least two (2) years of Supervisory experience.
Previous experience with Reporting to include State required reporting and NCQA.
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) to manage data, prepare reports, and communicate effectively; experience with MS Access is a plus. Also must have the ability to utilize electronic medical record (EMR) and documentation programs.
Excellent oral and written communication skills with attention to detail; solid decision-making and problem solving skills a plus, as well as the ability to prioritize and organize.
Experience working in community-based settings and/or home care.
Current or prior experience collaborating with the Department of Mental Health (DMH), the Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ), the Department of Social Services (DSS), and/or the Department of Disability and Special Needs (DDSN) is desired.
This is a Remote position but candidates must live in the state of South Carolina. The Supervisor may be required to engage with Members and Staff via face to face visits within the community or in home from time to time.
