Job Description
The Supervisor of Pharmacy Services oversees the daily operations of the assigned pharmacy area/services.
Supervises all levels of assigned personnel, and assists in developing and implementing specific goals and objectives as they pertain to his/her area of supervision.
Is also responsible for the assessment of patients including development, evaluation, and modification of the plan of care.
This person interprets and performs complex patient care procedures specific to their area of expertise.

The Supervisor of Pharmacy Services reports to the Pharmacy Operations Manager.

Qualifications
Education: Graduate from accredited school of Pharmacy required.
Licensure: Current Maryland License or eligible for licensure in the State of Maryland required.
Work Experience: At least two years working experience in an institutional setting required.
Working Conditions
* Works inside in a clean, well-light environment.
* Fast-paced; exposed to frequent interruptions, variability in workload, and multiple demands.
* Potential for regular exposure to communicable diseases and hazardous materials, requiring the observance of Standard (Universal) precautions and safe handling practices.
* May be required to work beyond normal tour of duty and rotate shifts based on department needs.
