What you'll doBecome part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the all-electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:Hire, train, and retain an exceptional team.Motivate and develop team members, fostering a strong sense of teamwork.Develop the Pilot Hall organization cross functionally to enable the plant to efficiently ramp and operate.Supervise body-in-white pre-series production.Supervise the body-in-white issue resolution process.Implement a pilot workshop that provides subassemblies and complete bodies at low volumes.Ensure that production tools and jigs meet dimensional capability requirements.Develop new processes and testing methods for production.Create KPIs to report on part status, volume, quality, etc.Attain and sustain quality, volume, and cost goals.Minimize downtime, scrap, and rework cost.Achieve dimensional accuracy during launch and maintain during series production.Analyze and collaborate on improving supplied parts.Quickly and comprehensively identify the root causes of production issues.Provide short term solutions while validating and implementing long term ones.Consult with product engineering to ensure the feasibility of design changes and new models.Evaluate change and deviation requests.Collaborate with product engineering to implement design solutions for production problems.Location & Travel Expectations: The responsibilities of this role require daily attendance at in-person meetings and events. This role will be based out of the Scout Motors location in Columbia, SC.
