Requirements Key Responsibilities: Procurement and Purchase Order Management: Create and process purchase orders (POs) accurately and in a timely manner. Coordinate with suppliers and factories to confirm order details, pricing, and delivery schedules. Monitor open purchase orders and follow up to ensure on-time delivery. Negotiate terms and pricing with suppliers when necessary. Maintain detailed records of all procurement activities. Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, tracking product movements and stock levels. Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure efficient inventory flow. Perform regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies. Quality Control Coordination: Arrange quality control inspections with factories to ensure products meet company standards. Communicate quality requirements and standards to suppliers and manufacturing partners. Address any quality issues promptly and work with suppliers to implement corrective actions. Document and report on quality control findings. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with operations, logistics, production and planning team members to align inventory levels with business needs. Provide timely updates on inventory status and potential supply issues. Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency in procurement and inventory management. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. 2-4+ years of experience in inventory management, procurement, or supply chain coordination. Proven experience in creating and managing purchase orders.
Experience in Cin7 is a plus. Familiarity with quality control procedures and coordinating inspections with factories. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. Experience with inventory management or ERP software is a plus. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to addressing challenges. Skills: Purchase Order Management: Using best practices to place purchase orders, ensure BOMs are kept up to date and reflect fully landed costs, and maintain clean data and systems.
Inventory Management: Ability to reconcile inventory and suggest improvements to related processes Quality Control Coordination: Experience arranging and overseeing product inspections. Understanding of quality assurance standards. Technical Proficiency: Competent in using inventory management systems and software. Strong Excel skills, including data entry and basic formulas. Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication skills for interacting with suppliers and internal teams. Ability to build and maintain professional relationships. Benefits
