Supply Chain Analyst

working M-F 9am to 5pm on site in

North Reading, MA

to support our premier client's Operations team.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SQL and global supply chain management experience. This is a

5-month

contract role

that affords excellent exposure with this leading ecommerce retailer.

Responsibilities:

Drive continuous improvement by identifying ways to streamline processes and reduce waste
Problem-solve and design solutions for company's network
Maintain/update internal documentation for internal training and reference
Systematic audit of current onboarded suppliers and metering centers with Material Identification Label (MIL) implementation and data quality check
Work with suppliers and metering centers for corrective action for those not complying to standard
Onboard any missing critical suppliers with MIL & Catbird, conduct Systematic audit of the supplier for MIL implementation and data quality check, ensure adherence to data capture standard
Support commodity managers, advanced manufacturing engineers and quality engineers in creating long term mechanisms for technology to supplier communications and process changes
Required Skills:

3+ years of direct experience in supplier/supply chain management.
3+ years of experience in high volume manufacturing operations or sourcing environment.
2+ years of experience with SQL; Must be able to connect to databases and independently query data and create reports.
1+ years of experience with global supply chain, managing cross functional teams in a fast-paced consumer electronics product company.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or related field.
Knowledge of basic supply agreement construction; understanding of key contracting provisions/requirements.
