Our client, a renowned Retail Brand, is seeking a Supply Chain Compliance Manager to help support their staff in Miami, FL!

Summary
The company is looking for high-energy, results-oriented supply chain professional to assume responsibility for supply chain activities and daily business activities related to company goals. S/he will be involved in all phases of the supply chain requiring the skills necessary to ensure Compliance and Performance/Function of factories and products. Monitor contracts and/or supplier agreements while managing service and delivery at optimal levels.

We are looking for the following highly developed skills:

· Understanding of U.S. Government/ U.S. Retailer Product and Social Compliance and how to implement programs with overseas suppliers.
· Understanding of quality systems and processes.
· Experience in navigating U.S. Retailer Mass Merchant compliance programs/systems.
· Experience in Asia/India and a high level of cultural sensitivity.
· Analytical, data driven approach with a high level of attention to details.
· Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
· Sporting goods industry category expertise.
· Knowledge of CE/UKCA certification processes a plus.
· Must be a self-starter and able to operate independently.
· Ability to navigate ambiguity and pursue clarification with urgency.
· Ability to troubleshoot proactively if possible; at minimum effectively the Compliance and Product Testing activities and the relationship of these activities to other departments within the company.
· Ability to communicate effectively across departments within the company and influence without authority as needed to achieve results.
· Detail oriented with the ability to manage conflicting priorities; we are a fast-moving organization where high achieving; self-directed individuals thrive.

Education

· Bachelor's Degree required in a relevant field of study such as supply chain, operations, or business.

Related Work Experience

· At least 3 – 5 years of demonstrable import/supply chain sporting goods industry management experience.

Function Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

· Detail Oriented with high level of organizational skills.
· Supplier/Vendor Agreements/Contracts: Knowledge of the legal terminology and language related to supplier and/or vendor agreements and contracts.
