Supply Chain Leadership Development Associate

SUPPLY CHAIN LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
This is a developmental role providing the candidate with a well-rounded background through exposure to several departments across Crane Composites and leading to a supply
chain position within 12 to 24 months.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Completion of rotations in multiple areas such as: Procurement, Inventory Control, Scheduling, Logistics, and assignment of special high visibility short-term projects. Learn about CBS (Crane Business Systems), our business system approach leveraged to continuously improve our processes, products, and people.
Participate in kaizens and other
continuous improvement activities. Perform daily responsibilities such as planning material requirements, executing purchase orders, scheduling production, managing suppliers, and other key Supply Chain operations. Partner with plant management teams to understand each site's manufacturing process and its connection with supply chain. Provide analytical support for pricing, material costing, inventory, cost savings and new product
development initiatives and customer/product profitability analysis.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

Working towards a bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field.

General computer skills, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and PowerBI.

Capacity to solve problems, think creatively, and offer solutions.

Excellent communication skills - professional and effective interaction across all levels of the organization.

Able to keep accurate and well-organized records and all necessary documentation.
