[Job Summary]
The SCM operations team at company improves efficiency for account managers and drives
productivity through improved processes and tools. This individual will need to collaborate
effectively with internal stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and external vendors to solve
problems, enable sales performance for a rapidly expanding team and product offering, create
operational efficiencies, and deliver successfully against high organizational standards.
This position prepares and processes logistics related documentation and assists with logistics
between plants and warehouses. Analyze data, MIS, to meet the business demand
Job FunctionsAd-hoc support: provide ad-hoc support for our sales team, executives, supply chain team, finance team, accounting team, and regulatory team (providing documents, creating reports, and more as requested)Operations: require understanding workflow from a contract to an invoice. Create purchase order, inbound delivery, warehouse inventory management (quarantined vs non-quarantined). Enter, update, and maintain data in SAP and Excel. Perform a weekly closing report to prepare for monthly closing.SCM/3PL: Communicate with HQ SCM team, the plants (U.S. & overseas), 3PL, FF, suppliers to ensure our products move and deliver efficiently.Manage optimum stockage level to control inventory levels of all storage locations.Analyzing all related to logistics data such as customer, vendor, geographical information, etc. and requesting update if needed.Ensuring documentation in compliance with booking, quality, and regulatory standards. Ensuring accuracy of purchase orders, invoices and similar documentation and process.Corresponding to all issues related to shipment with freight forwarders/shipping lines, factory, warehouse, carriers, and suppliers. Processing of logistics related invoicesWorking on logistics projects if needed.Preparing various logistics related reports periodically.Manage and mentor junior levels to function all duties.Performing other duties as assigned. [Qualifications]Bachelor's Degree (Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Finance, Accounting or other related)Knowledge of supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.Advanced computer skills, i.e. Microsoft office, Excel, SAP.Business operations, an analytical/strategic role, or other relevant experience preferredSupply chain / 3PL / warehouse management experience preferred Required Skills, Knowledge and AbilitiesAbility to participate in a high-performance team-based environment that is fast-learning and adaptive.Ability to communicate effectively and participate in a continuous improvement culture, including utilizing problem-solving skills.Required Computer skills, (Advanced Excel, SAP SD, TM, MM, eWM, and FI & Salesforce)Critical thinking, multi-tasking and troubleshooting skills.Must be organized and show attention to detail and meet deadlinesMust be able to maintain confidentiality.Ability to work extended hours beyond the normal work schedule during closings and audits, as neededBi-Lingual (Korean/English) a plusTravel: up to 10% travel may be required for this position
