DESCRIPTION North America Last Mile and Middle Mile Supply Chain is looking for a self-driven Supply Chain Manager to lead supply chain set ups and vendor program management for innovative engineering solutions in our last/middle mile delivery stations. You'll work to deliver improved safety, ergonomics, productivity, cost and sustainability to the last and middle mile networks through your work!
Key job responsibilities
oLead Supply Chain readiness for all Process Engineering Projects which deliver safety, ergonomic and productivity benefits to the network working across vendors
oEnable pilot efforts by introducing new vendor options, improving vendor turnaround times, ensuring clarity on design ownership, driving on-time feedback on design and cost opportunities and rapidly solving supply chain issues
oSecure deployment readiness by partnering with vendors to prepare feedstock, long-lead items and production capacities on schedule and debottleneck deployment challenges due to supply chain, if any by creating alternative options and elevating for decisions
oDrive deployment via triggering on-time ordering, tracking delivery and partnering with site, third-party logistic providers and vendor resources addressing any feedback
oDeliver cost improvements to meet project Return on Investment (ROI) by identifying vendor pricing opportunities, design improvements and process optimization
oAlign appropriate warranty and spare stock needs by partnering with Process Engineering and vendors to ensure quality and cost effective after sales support
About the team
Supply Chain team owns the supply chain set-up and readiness for all new programs and products across multiple engineering categories (equipments, fixtures consumables etc.). We bring last & middle mile's ambitious goals to life by partnering with a wide set of stakeholders in Process Engineering, WHS, Design, Operations and Procurement. We program manage vendors during the design, deployment, and change management stages. We partner internally and externally to deliver program milestones, cost, quality and sustainability.
We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:
Bellevue, WA, USA BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - 2+ years of program or project management experience
- 2+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 2+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- 2+ years of supply chain experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
