The Cold Chain Director is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end cold chain management in the distribution of pharmaceutical products directly to consumers (B2C). This role involves ensuring the safe and efficient handling, storage, and transportation of temperature-sensitive pharmaceuticals, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and driving sales growth.
\n ResponsibilitiesCold Chain Management:Oversee the cold chain process from manufacturing to the final customer delivery.Ensure compliance with temperature-sensitive handling protocols and regulatory standards.Monitor and manage storage facilities, transportation logistics, and delivery systems to maintain product integrity.Sales Leadership:Develop and execute B2C sales strategies for pharmaceutical products, targeting end consumers directly.Build strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders in the pharmaceutical industry.Monitor and report on sales performance, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.Team Management:Lead and mentor the cold chain logistics and sales teams to ensure high performance and alignment with organizational goals.Coordinate with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, customer service, operations) to ensure seamless product delivery.Regulatory Compliance:Ensure all activities comply with local and international pharmaceutical regulations and industry best practices for cold chain logistics.Prepare for and lead inspections/audits related to cold chain processes and pharmaceutical sales. QualificationsBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Business, or a related field.Proven experience in cold chain logistics, B2C sales, or pharmaceutical sales.Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical cold chain management regulations and best practices.Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Ability to analyze sales data and identify key growth opportunities.Preferred Skills: Experience working in the pharmaceutical industry with temperature-sensitive products.Familiarity with pharmaceutical sales processes and customer relationship management.
