We are looking for a Supply Chain Manager to lead the Supply Chain Team and drive all the assigned goals and activities.
Responsibilities Lead the Supply Chain Team and drive all the assigned goals and activities. Manage the assigned customer / supplier accounts. Purchasing and Material procurement. VMI, JIT program planning, implementation and management. Vendor management, and KPI monitoring and improvements. Price negotiations to achieve favorable PPV on procured materials. Lead various cross- functional and Continuous Improvement activities. Use of ERP / MRP Software, QuoteFx software for quotations. Compiling and presenting quote to the company management. EDI utilization for material procurement, along with PO issuance and recording in ERP system. MRP review and order planning. Freight monitoring and ensuring to keep it within provided guidelines. Freight (UPS, FedEx and others) contract negotiations. Various data collection, reporting and charting. Read and study to remain knowledgeable on current trends in supply chain. Perform other duties as needed to support the customers, manufacturing processes and quality systems company wide. This includes following procedures, work instructions and completing all related documentation. Develop, lead and execute purchasing strategies.
Qualifications: Bachelor or equivalent with major in Materials, Supply Chain or Operations.
Minimum of 8 years of progressive Purchasing / Supply Chain experience with exposure to responsibilities listed above. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively as a team player. Proficient in Microsoft Office products with an emphasis on Excel and Access. Time management, ability to organize and manage multiple priorities unsupervised.
