Supply Chain Manager is a keyfunction to drive standard S&OP (Sales, Operations and Planning), supplychain strategies, cost-containment, material and supplier performance acrossDucommun.
Supply Chain Manager has direct organizational responsibility for allelements of supply chain.
The individual is responsible for all aspects of the Supply ChainManagement process, providing leadership and aligned organizational directionfor the comprehensive supply chain function across strategic businessunit/operations center.
Scope of leadership includes supply chainstrategic/tactical planning and execution activities associated with allrelated business processes, from point of backlog order enter through tocustomer receipt of product to ensure quality, delivery and cost objectives areachieved.
Supply chain strategy management Ensures processes for supply chain management results in the highest level of internal and external customer satisfaction.
Lead supplier development along with commodity strategy to have complete documents including but not limited to Ducommun NDA, Terms and Conditions, and support commodity leaders in LTA preparation and negotiation Supplier and material management Manages materials and services acquirement at the lowest total cost to Ducommun.
Leads and participates inthe selection, evaluation and management of suppliers Master Scheduling andProduction Control Work with production control and master scheduling, S&OP leader and supply chain members to ensure end-to-end forward looking supply chain process and execution, including demand, sales order entry, production planning, inventory management, and material preparation.
InternalCommunication and Collaboration Support and promote company core values of honesty, professionalism, respect, trust and teamwork and utilize the Ducommun Way methodology to achieve objectives.
Works collaboratively with SBU & operations center leadership and teams to continuously assess operating plan and functional results to apply necessary business improvement methodologies
RequiredExperience/Education/Training/Certifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must possessthe outlined experience level, education, training, minimum years ofexperience, product or industry knowledge plus any certifications in order tobe considered.
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent, in Business, Supply Chain, or other related degree.
MBA preferred
Minimum of 8 years supply chain or related experience including significant experience in a leadership role.
(Commodity management and supplier development experience preferred).
Minimum of 3 years ERP system experience.
Minimum 3 years of previous S&OP processes experience.
ISM or APICS certification preferred.
CPM, CSM or CPSM preferred.
Aerospace or Electronic Component manufacturing experience desired.
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent, in Business, Supply Chain, or other related degree.
MBA preferred
Minimum of 8 years supply chain or related experience including significant experience in a leadership role.
(Commodity management and supplier development experience preferred).
Base Compensation: USD 82,538.00 - 103,187.00 Paid Salaried
