Supply Chain Manager

This position manages, supervises, and coordinates manages all aspects of inventory, shipping and receiving; designs and executes strategies and plans to meet company's short-term and long-term supply chain management/production control requirements.


Essential Functions Manage inventories at ALL FOF inventory locations (West, East, CSW, Lineage, Americold, Armada etc.)
- any place the FOF still owns the inventory.
Maintain a fully functional supply chain management/production control infrastructure.
Promotes a positive work environment.
Manage purchasing/vendor/cost savings approvals.
Conduct vendor change approvals/testing as needed.
Oversee procurement process to maintain strategic sourcing strategy Manage material usage and needs.
CHEP program reporting.
Assist in QA run mock recalls for audits.
Working Capital management: Develop processes to deliver managing slow moving, obsolete, expired, and excess materials in collaboration with departments.
Collaborate with Finance to develop appropriate valuation reporting for visibility and control.
Drive Warehouse best practices for Fair Oaks Foods across all facilities.
Assist in process development and execution of overall Inventory Accuracy with a focus on RCA and lean 6 sigma principles.
Development of suitable KPI to measure and track performance.
Inventory Reconciliation: Assist in developing suitable Inventory Reporting capabilities.
Ensure 3PL and SAP are reconciled weekly and manage any reconciliation issues.
Root cause inconsistencies and corrective actions.
3PL Management: Stock Rotation problem resolution.
Oversee and manage EDI processes between Fair Oaks Foods and 3PL.
Manage all 3PL on a day-to-day basis collaborating with departments as needed.
Warehouse management best practices: Partner with EH&S manager to best practices and compliance in FOF warehouses across all sites.
Partner with Ops to deliver Lean initiatives that focuses on layout optimization and flow.
Partner to drive RF across the organization.
Monitor error exception reporting and drive best practice to develop processes to cover RCA solutions.
Play a leading role in managing material usage variances to standard BOM's by collaborating across departments.
Assist in the implementation of MRP and maintenance thereof.
Master Data Management (MDM): Develop and drive business processes to effectively manage Master Data management end to end guided by the overall MDM strategy.
Develop onboarding, cleansing, compliance, validation and sharing processes.
Assist with, if required, migration of data across databases when required.
Management of : Info Records Manufacturing routings Bill of Materials Item, Vendor and Material Masters as required.
Any other master data related requirements.
Develop suitable SOP's and training.
Internal support to other business functions troubleshooting and correcting Master Data related errors.
Provide Supply Chain cost savings initiatives.
Provide feedback to the management team on new ideas or issues.

This job operates in a professional office environment.
This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration.


Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is frequently is required to stand, walk, sit and use hands to operate a computer keyboard.
The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.

The ability to communicate orally with contractors, management, and coworkers is crucial.
Regular use of the phone and email for communication is essential.

The ability to remain standing and/or walking position roughly 85% of the time in the plant, as well as the ability to move about the office occasionally (accessing files/storage, office equipment, computers and other office productivity devices, etc.
), is required.
Using a computer while sitting for brief periods is occasional.
Must also be able to position self to use and maintain equipment, including under tables and desks.
Occasional heavy lifting exertion of about 75 lbs.
of force (e.g., binders, laptops) may be required.
Good manual dexterity is required to use common office equipment (e.g., computers, mobile devices, calculators, copiers, scanners).
Supervisor Responsibility This position manages all employees of the department and is responsible for the performance management and hiring of the employees within that department. Safety and Security

Observes safety and security procedures such as Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's), Material Safety Data (MSD) sheets, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), Lock-Out-Tag-Out (LOTO), Emergency Evacuations and Building Security; Reports potentially unsafe conditions and injuries: near miss/incidents/accidents; Uses and cares for company equipment and materials properly.
