Supply Chain - Mid-Level Assignment - Remote

Summary:
We are seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Supply Chain Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for orchestrating the design, planning, execution, control, and monitoring of supply chain activities to create value, foster competitiveness, optimize logistics globally, synchronize supply with demand, and gauge performance on a global scale.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize your moderate to extensive expertise in the field to undertake assignments ranging from straightforward tasks to assuming full accountability for processes or business objectives.
- Enhance your understanding of our company, processes, and customers by spearheading projects or segments within larger initiatives.
- Tackle problems using existing solutions while also bringing fresh perspectives to address complex issues.
- Receive moderate guidance and direction as you navigate through your responsibilities.
- Potentially serve as a Line Manager for Business Operations and Technical roles, providing oversight for up to 3 individuals.
Requirements:
- Supply Chain Expertise: Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of distribution processes spanning from material or component suppliers to end consumers. Lead major physical distribution and materials management activities, including distribution, transportation, production planning, and inventory control. Set and execute strategic supply direction to achieve long-term operational and profit goals. Potentially oversee plant or multi-site operations, ensuring quality, cost, volume, and service targets are met. Accountable for delivering financial results related to supply activities.
- Logistics Operations: Manage or perform tasks related to Logistics Planning & Optimization, Warehouse & Distribution Center Operations (including shipping, receiving, materials handling), and Transportation & Fleet Operations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Possess 2-3 years of supply chain experience, preferably in Logistics (Warehousing, Transportation) or Order Fulfillment (Order Management). Baseline experience in any supply chain functional area (Procurement, Production/Manufacturing, Planning, Quality, Product Design, etc.) is desirable.
