JOB DESCRIPTIONPurpose of the role: Global Supply Chain Planner is responsible for coordinating assets to optimize the delivery of goods, services and information from supplier to domestic and global customers. Balancing supply and demand (Ensuring maximum service with optimization of Inventory).

Reports To: Factory Supply Chain Manager
ResponsibilitiesExecute all supply chain planning related work for Channel / Product line.S&OP of Product group, capacity booking and Monthly Input/output Control.Perform forecasts of product demand to meet market needs.Plan and prepare production schedule based on forecasts to satisfy customer demand.Interface with sales to acquire information on future orders, market trends and extraordinary circumstances.Establish Supply Delivery Conditions, Procedures and Parameter Values.Analyze and monitor customer service and Stockout, Flow KPIs like Prodperf, Supperf, Mfg Leadtime and related improvement actions.Maintain SC related fields in various masters in MAPICS, SCSS, SO99+ and OMPS and Central Prodmast & Inventory management for FGS and Mfg stock items.Execute MRP, Procurement Order & Supply Schedules (Call-offs) issue.Establish Supply Channel contracts which consider delivery condition, procedure and parameter values.Represent Supply Chain in external as well as internal audits.MetricsInventory management for Product line.Customer service balance for Product line.Product Forecasting and Capacity booking for Product line.Implementation of global supply chain strategies for Product line.Strong analytical, planning and organizational skills.Strong interpersonal and communications skills (oral & written).Self-starter with ability to work independently under pressure and react quickly to changing priorities.Knowledge and understanding of Supply Chain concepts and application.Candidate ProfileBachelor of engineering (any) apart from IT/Computer/Civil Engineering.3+ years of experience in the relevant field.Certification in CPIM is preferable/not mandatory.SKF has been around for more than a century and today we are one of the world's largest global suppliers of bearings and supporting solutions for rotating equipment.
