The Sourcing Specialist will work closely with the Procurement and Sourcing teams to ensure timely and cost-effective strategic sourcing of goods and services, adhering to corporate policies and best practices. This position will provide guidance to internal customers on applying sourcing philosophies while securing optimal deals for the organization. Additionally, the role will identify opportunities within business units to enhance engagement in the sourcing process.
Collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders is essential during the sourcing process, which includes project assessments, sourcing strategies development, supplier evaluation, and contract negotiations to meet financial and quality targets. Maintaining strong working relationships and communication with customers and suppliers is critical.
The incumbent will also assist in the development, implementation, and management of contracts, as well as work closely with Procurement Buyers and the Sourcing Team to identify sourcing opportunities. The Sourcing Specialist will manage the entire lifecycle of commodities, ensuring that suppliers meet or exceed quality, cost, and performance objectives.
