Supply Chain SpecialistThe Supply Chain Specialist plays a critical role in optimizing our company's supply chain operations. They are responsible for overseeing and managing the end-to-end supply chain process, from procurement and logistics to inventory management and distribution. The primary goal is to ensure the efficient and seamless flow of materials and products, meeting customer demands while minimizing costs and maximizing operational effectiveness.Duties and ResponsibilitiesIdentify reliable suppliers, negotiate contracts, and maintain relationships to secure optimal terms and pricingMonitor supplier performance and compliance with contracts, ensuring timely deliveries and adherence to quality standardsDevelop and implement effective inventory control strategies to optimize stock levels, minimize carrying costs, and reduce stockouts or overstocksConduct regular inventory analysis to identify slow-moving or obsolete items and recommend appropriate actionCoordinate transportation and logistics activities, including arranging shipments, managing freight costs, and tracking delivery schedulesWork closely with carriers and freight forwarders to optimize delivery routes and transit timesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to develop accurate demand forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and upcoming promotions or events.Requirements and QualificationsBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
