Supply Chain Specialist

As a
Supply Chain Specialist,
you will contribute to driving the S&OP process and managing the inventory to secure product supply and optimize costs to building a new logistical support service with the goal to increase customer satisfaction and support the operations of our shops all over the country. In this role, you will manage for the governance of the operational performance of the direct suppliers driving Improvement of their performance across all the business units of the organization.
Roles & Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Inventory Management
Analyze and monitor the main supply chain KPIs (orders, demand, inventory, costs), analyze root causes, and lead actions to improve them
Lead the collection and analysis of supplier reported information. Use analysis to improve or redesign reporting systems to better meet strategic goals.
Manage inventory levels on key products for supply continuity and risk management.
Capability to manage inventory across multiple locations, to improve working capital and maximize service levels
Relationship Building
Build sound relationships with suppliers resulting in the successful support of the organization's goals.
Work collaboratively with the regional business units to support growth in each business segment.
Capacity to manage key suppliers through best-in-class Supplier Relationship Management practices such as contract management, scorecards, business reviews and other tools & processes required to ensure the company's best interests are served
Forecasting
Analyze the current sales, orders, and supplier demand forecast situations to system-generate forecasts as well as historic demand, trends, and deviations
Maintain contact with Global Supply Chain and lead and participate in strategic projects, including process improvements and business cases design
Guide and execute the Sales and Operations Planning, incorporate market trends and uplifts in the forecasting process, create an agreement forecast with marketing, sales, and finance and follow it up with suppliers
Create and own a process for NPI and phase out, avoiding write off and back order
Supplier Performance Compliance
Monitor supplier performance and compliance against contracted goals through contract management.
Develop new supplier performance metrics across other business units.
Escalation points for supplier quality and service complaints - ensure timely resolution on complaints outside of performance metrics.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain/Finance/ Operations or related business discipline
3+ years of experience in a logistic role in the Supply Chain (forecasting, ordering, and inventory management)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Good organizational and communication skills
Ability to prioritize effectively, being comfortable with handling a variety of tasks
Flexibility, positive and proactive approach
Additional Qualifications
Proficient in analyzing and forecasting demand on different time horizons
Demonstrated experience in creating an agreement forecast with marketing, sales, and finance
Experience in managing inventory across multiple locations, improve working capital and maximize service levels
Capacity to manage key suppliers through best-in-class Supplier Relationship Management practices
Has experience using tools and capabilities to enhance productivity of supply chain teams
Required proficiency with tools:
Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning System (ERP)
High level knowledge of Microsoft Excel skills
