Supply Chain SpecialistCompany:The Boeing CompanyJob ID:******** Date Posted:******** Location:USA - Oklahoma City, OK, USA - San Antonio, TXJob Description Qualifications:Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Supply Chain Specialist to join our dynamic team in San Antonio, TX or Oklahoma City, OK.Position Responsibilities:Leads and administers post production requests for quotes containing long lead times, high value and/or lengthy bills of material.Leads activities for economy of purchases.Leads and monitors customer allocation and delivery schedules and projections for significant customers.Leads the analysis of supplier and/or customer data regarding products or services to include repair capabilities, capacity and performs assessment of configuration change impact to supply support system.Initiates recommendations for repair sourcing decisions.Oversees the processing and documentation of repair items and warranties.Conducts supplier/customer presentations and program reviews.Identifies Supply Chain alternatives to resolve obsolescence issues.This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.This position is for 1st shift.This position must meet export control compliance requirements. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):More than 3 years of experience in a role that required articulating data analysis summaries verbally or via PowerPoint presentations to various audience including senior managementMore than 3 years of experience in using advanced features in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, and Power PointMore than 3 years of experience working with customer and supplier requirements to support program deliveries (e.g., planned versus unplanned demand, economic order quantity, resource planning, material type, manufacture or purchase, lead times)Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Bachelor's degree or higher.More than 3 years of experience in supplier management or supply chain management?More than 3 years of experience assessing and evaluating riskMore than 3 years of experience with the GOLD inventory systemTypical Education/Experience:Typically 10 or more years' related work experience or relevant military experience.
