Supply Chain Specialist

Job Description We are currently looking for a Supply Chain Specialist interested in supporting the development and launch of our electrical surgical system used for transseptal procedures in a fast-paced FDA regulated startup environment. This is a full time on-site position and will require reporting to our office located in Solana Beach, CA. As a critical member of the operations team, this person will manage the procurement of raw materials and supplies and facilitate the movement of our products throughout the production process.
Roles & Responsibilities Develop and implement procurement strategies that are aligned with the company's objectives.Source raw materials, capital equipment, and services, while managing supplier relationships.Work directly with suppliers for order confirmation and tracking. Expedite materials as needed and identify (and plan for) long lead time items for timely delivery.Negotiate pricing and delivery terms, maintaining strong relationships with suppliers to ensure on-time deliveries and cost savings.Research and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, service, and support.Manage the procurement of office supplies, warehouse supplies, computer supplies, cleaning supplies, and other miscellaneous items as requested.Interface with Accounts Payable to reconcile invoices, receipts, and purchase orders.Partner with Suppliers, Quality, and Engineering to resolve quality issues. Qualifications & Core Competencies Bachelor's degree required preferably in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related manufacturing field.Minimum of 3 years of professional experience with at least 1 year of experience in supply chain.***** Experience in a regulated industry such as medical device, aerospace, pharmaceutical, military procurement, etc. Skills & Experience Proven track record in procurement and supply chain management within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the medical device industry.Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.Ability to understand bills of materials and read product drawings and parts specifications.Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, and other Microsoft programs. ** Hybrid/ ** Solana Beach, CA What we ***** Competitive pay (salary, bonus, and potential stock options)Paid time off (PTO)Comprehensive medical coverage (PPO, dental, vision)
