**Job Description:**
Tenneco is seeking a dedicated and resilient Support Associate to join our dynamic team. As a Support Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring customer satisfaction through exceptional service and technical support.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Customer Support**: Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, providing exceptional support via phone, email, and chat. Addressing questions, and resolving issues promptly and efficiently.
- **Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving**: Assist customers in identifying problems, offering innovative solutions and guides to troubleshoot technical issues with Tenneco products and services.
- **Research and Documentation**: Conduct thorough research to verify product information or troubleshoot customer concerns. Document all customer interactions accurately and maintain records of issues and resolutions.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, sales, and marketing, to escalate and resolve complex issues and ensure continuous service improvement.
- **Customer Feedback**: Gather and report customer feedback and trends to help enhance products and services, providing insights to management for process improvements.
- **Product Knowledge**: Maintain a deep understanding of Tenneco's product range, new technologies, and updates, ensuring that all interactions with customers reflect the latest information.
- **Attendance and Availability**: Maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate customer needs, including evenings and weekends as required, ensuring coverage during peak support hours.
- **Training and Mentorship**: Assist in onboarding and training new Support Associates as necessary, fostering a team-oriented culture and sharing best practices.
**Qualifications:**
- **Education**: Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 4 years in a customer support or technical support role, preferably with experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry.
- **Skills**:
- **Communication**: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information simply and effectively.
- **Research**: Proficient in researching and analyzing information to provide accurate solutions and support to customers.
