Hours Full Time 40hrs Evenings Shift Working every other weekend and holiday What You Will Do Clean and restock all occupied rooms and sanitize (terminal clean) after patient discharge (25%) Assist in the nutritional services department (Caf 44 support, tray passing, and general cleaning) (25%) Transportation of patients and patient equipment such as wheelchairs, stretchers, beds (25%) Transportation of linen, supplies, patient records, trash and biohazard waste (15%) Assist with general office functions within the Support Services Division (10%) Additional Responsibilities Performs other duties as assigned. Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients.
Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace. Qualifications: Education High School Equivalent / GED (Preferred) Work Experience Prior healthcare experience (Preferred) Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Cleaning and major surface maintenance in hospital setting (Preferred proficiency) Mature judgment, good communication skills, service focused and team orientated.
(Required proficiency) Patient transfer and lifting techniques.
(Required proficiency) Working knowledge of basic computer applications and basic data entry.
