Support Tech

Job Summary
The Support Technician is responsible for all tasks assigned to the support desk and dispatch areas, first level problem resolution and resolution of end user desktop and peripheral hardware issues.
Licensure and Certification:
* Required: CompTIA A+
* Preferred: Microsoft Certified Professional
Education:
* High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience:
* Minimum of two (2) years' experience or an educational equivalent in:
* Support Center experience
* Telephone support
* Personal computers
* Microsoft Windows and applications
* Concepts of Information Technology, hardware, software, operating systems, and utilities
Knowledge and Skills:
* Provide outstanding customer service
* Prioritize workload and meet deadlines
* Work cooperatively as a team member
* Strong oral and written communication skills
Physical Demands - Clerical/Administrative Non-Patient Care:
* Frequent sitting and standing/walking with frequent position change.
* Continuous use of bilateral upper extremities in fine motor activities requiring fingering, grasping, and forward reaching between waist and chest level.
* Frequent reaching at or above shoulder level.
* Frequent bending, squatting, kneeling, pushing/pulling, twisting, and climbing.
* Frequent lifting and carrying objects/equipment weighing up to 25 pounds.
* Continuous use of near vision, hearing and verbal communication skills in handling telephone calls, interacting with customers and co-workers and performing job duties.
