Surface Belt Electrician
Requirements: Reports to: Supervisor The essential functions of this position are determined to be but not limited to:
Work Schedule: Rotating shifts between days and seconds. Periodically, Surface Belt Electricians must work weekends and/or holidays when necessary.
Position Summary: Employee must have general conveyor belt operation and maintenance knowledge. Walking is required throughout the day; this distance may vary from a few feet to a couple hundred feet in a normal, upright posture. The job may include operating a specific piece of equipment to diagnose a problem or for testing purposes. This may include dismantling the equipment and replacing worn or broken parts. Must be able to lift more than 50 pounds regularly. Must have the ability to climb and work off ladders, catwalks, and man-lifts. Ability to work in confined spaces and climb stairways.
