Surgery - Vascular Physician Assistant

Responsibilities: Providing quality care and services throughout the patient s hospitalization under the supervision of an attending physician Evaluation of patients through daily rounding, ordering and evaluation Performs admission history and physicals Communicates with attending physicians regarding patient care Communicates with patient and patient s family regarding diagnosis, treatment and patient education Actively participates in patient discharge planning Records findings of examinations, assessments, and plan of care Performs initial and periodic medical history, physical examinations, and daily assessments Writes appropriate prescriptions and administers medications Documents all patient encounters, records observations, interventions, and actions in a medically appropriate manner on the patient's medical record Requirements: Nurse Practitioner license required (ANP or FNP) Vascular or Vein Experience required Atlas Search is a tri-state area recruitment agency, connecting new graduates, Advanced Practice Providers, Physicians and Nurse Leaders to hospitals, clinics, multi-specialty groups, nursing homes, managed care companies, private practices, and healthcare start-ups.
