Surgical Scrub Technician

Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Surgical Scrub Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring surgical procedures are conducted smoothly by maintaining a sterile environment, preparing instruments and equipment, and assisting the surgical team during operations.

\n$50,000 - $60,000 a year
Key Responsibilities -Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies in accordance with established protocols.
-Assist in setting up the operating room and ensure the surgical field remains sterile.
-Anticipate the needs of the surgical team during procedures and provide instruments, sutures, and other items promptly.
-Conduct preoperative and postoperative cleaning of the surgical area and equipment.
-Verify the inventory of surgical instruments and supplies before and after each procedure.
-Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and efficiency in the operating room.
-Adhere to infection control and safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications Certification: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
Education: Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program or equivalent training.
Experience: 1-2 Years Experience
Skills:
-Proficiency in maintaining a sterile environment.
-Knowledge of surgical instruments and procedures.
-Strong organizational and time-management skills.
-Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
