Surgical Tech - Operating Room

Description:Surgical Tech, 4/10's 6:45a-5:15p days will vary -Holiday/weekends covered by call and call varies Competitive Sign on Bonus AvailableRESPONSIBLE FOR: Performs necessary duties in scrub role. Takes on greater responsibility in providing patient care demonstrating a higher level critical thinking and problem solving skills. Functions in partnership with licensed staff. Performs patient care duties for clients of various age groups under the direction of a registered nurse.Qualifications:MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:High School graduate or GED. Graduate of a Surgical Technology program.MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:Certification as a Surgical Technologist or 3 years of surgical tech experience required.MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:N/AADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:Certification as a Surgical Technologist preferred BLS certification required.
