Set up surgical instruments and equipment according to the specific surgical procedure.* Assisting in Surgical Procedures: Provide precise and timely assistance to surgeons during operations. Anticipate the needs of the surgical team by passing instruments, supplies, and equipment while maintaining a sterile field.* Patient Care: Help in positioning and preparing patients for surgery. Perform pre-operative prepping and draping of patients ensuring adherence to aseptic techniques. Monitor patients' vital signs and be prepared to respond promptly to any changes or emergencies.* Instrumentation and Equipment: Ensure proper care, cleaning, and maintenance of surgical instruments and equipment. Assist in troubleshooting any technical issues with the surgical equipment during procedures.* Sterilization and Infection Control: Adhere to strict sterile processing protocols ensuring all instruments and equipment are properly cleaned, sterilized, and maintained. Follow hospital infection control policies to prevent the spread of infections within the operating room.* Communication and Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of surgical procedures, patient records, and instrument counts.
