Using audio and video equipment, observes and reports illegal and non-procedurally compliant violations of casino policies and procedures, NIGC, STGC Regulations and the New Mexico Gaming Compact.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Maintains video/audio surveillance of gaming activities using multiple monitors.
These functional areas include, but are not limited to; casino table games, bingo (includes bingo card room), cashier cage, video slot machines, Poker, Keno, count, sort, and money rooms, storage locations, vault, entrances, outdoor grounds, parking lots, stairs and open common areas. Maintains surveillance over monetary transactions and stations. Documents monetary transactions for procedural inconsistencies. Prepares and maintains an individual official log of departmental activities. Documents and provides evidence for use by casino for legal purposes. Maintains radio contact with security personnel, casino managers, and other surveillance personnel as assigned. Works within, adheres to, and contributes to an established operational chain of command. Maintains confidentiality of duties, reports, investigations, and any other job-related information at all times. Builds a professional relationship with all team members and work associates, while supporting a strong collaborative work environment. Punctual and regular attendance is an essential responsibility for all team members and are expected to report to work based upon the assigned schedule each day in accordance with the Attendance Policy for Pueblo of Sandia.
Additional Responsibilities Supports a single function and holds a position that does not supervise people but provides guidance to lower-level Team Members as needed.
Functions as an advisor to management due to the complexity of the level of work performed.
May hold current licenses, certifications, specialized education, and possess stipulated technical expertise as required. Demonstrates advanced knowledge in all aspects of the specialized function.
Performs work as a highly skilled individual contributor and considered a subject matter expert within the peer set, particularly with problem-solving. Critical thinking and the ability to analyze issues, identify solutions, and implement them effectively. Key Performance Indicators

KPI's will be shared to all team members who work in this job title and feedback will be provided regarding the successful completion of the KPI's as part of the performance review process.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to speak clearly, understand radio transmissions, and operate assigned equipment. Ability to pass vision test, eyesight correctable to 20/20, and have no colorblindness. Ability to identify violations involving casino policies and procedures. Ability to attend and pass training classes and courses. Ability to communicate effectively with others. Ability to understand and follow standard operating procedures and departmental operating guidelines. Ability to make quick decisions under stressful conditions. Ability to draft written reports and other documentation. Ability to perform repetitive duties over long periods of time. Ability to work odd and unusual hours. Ability to operate effectively, a hand controller lever. Ability to visually observe and discern screen images and make recommendations. Ability to successfully complete a comprehensive background investigation. Knowledge of, and ability to use, video recording and audio equipment. Must have knowledge of, or be willing to learn, gaming rules, slot machines, bingo, Table Games, and Poker Ability to perform basic mathematical problems quickly and accurately. Ability to work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors. Requirements: Education and Experience
Required: High School diploma, GED certification or equivalent.
One (1) year of Casino operations experience, in one or more of the following: Surveillance Security Dispatch Table Games Slots Cage Vault Note: Relevant work experience or education may be substituted to satisfy education and/or work experience.

List Working Conditions Required: Work is performed indoors subject to stale air and cigarette smoke. Requires sitting for long periods of time viewing monitor screens.
