Position Description: We are looking for a Senior Crew Chief to join our ICE team to improve infrastructure in our Flint office. Candidates must have a high school diploma, but an associates degree or higher is preferred. A minimum of five years related experience of land and/or construction survey is required, but eight or more years is preferred. A valid driver's license and experience with Survey equipment is also required. Candidates should be self-motivated and able to work well with others.
\n Typical responsibilities include: Conduct various types of surveying including boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, subdivisions, construction stakeouts, etc.Interpret maps, plats, construction drawings and specificationsOversee the daily operation of a survey crewDocument work performed and sketchesAdhere to company standards for processing and storing dataPerform various survey calculationsOrganize and maintain survey documentationOperate and maintain survey equipmentCommunicate project status to Project Managers and clientsResearch project information at the Registrar of DeedsPrepare forms and other paperwork in a timely mannerAttend seminars and/or training classesPerform other duties as assignedMaintain excellent client relationsMaintain a safe working environment Education:High school diploma or equivalent requiredAssociates degree or higher is preferred Skills/Experience:5 or more years of land and/or construction survey experience is required8 or more years of related experience is preferredValid Driver's license is required Survey equipment (Trimble) experience is preferred
