The Reg Reporting Data Management Lead Analyst is a senior level position responsible for the generation, analysis and submission of financial reports in coordination with the Finance team. Employees in this role lead activities including the closing of books and sub-ledgers, passing appropriate required adjustment entries and consolidating financials at the end of each accounting period. The overall objective of this role is to accurately prepare and report business/financial transactions, reports and statements in accordance with local regulatory guidelines.
Responsibilities:
Lead the definition and implementation of demonstrable data controls covering different dimensions to ensure that the data used by Data Consumers is accurate, consistent, and complete.
Certify data with data quality checks to ensure safe, accurate and controlled sourcing, transport, access, and storage of data at the consumption layer.
Support the data requirements identification and collection process to ensure completeness, accuracy and consistency of the metadata capture during the implementation phase.
Review data quality requirements and verify controls are in accordance with the CDGP (Citi Data Governance Policy)
Support the implementation of data management initiatives across Citi to ensure the needs of Controllers are met and that the data is fit for purpose.
Participate in the design and implementation of strategic solutions to enhance the data delivery and provisioning platforms for Controllers
Facilitate the transition of data consumption from existing models to the enhanced data management framework, including defining consumption points, trusted sources, and technology enablers
Monitor and assess resolution of top data priority issues with impact on Data Consumers.
Participate in the development of data quality metrics, including dashboards, KPIs, and other measurements of success
Facilitate or contribute to status meetings (recurring and ad-hoc) with required stakeholder communities (including senior management) by preparing materials and updates, summarizing issues and risks, defining agreed action items and next steps
Create project artifacts including, but not limited to: business and functional requirements, user acceptance test plans, and operational readiness documents
Other specific responsibilities as related to the supported function, including requirements gathering, issue root cause remediation, data lineage documentation, control design, process governance etc.
Qualifications:
10+ years of relevant experience
Previous supervisory experience
Demonstrated leadership and project management skills
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
Ability to communicate with others across functions
Education:
Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
Master's degree preferred
