Our client, a leading foodservice company, is seeking a Swing Forklift Operator to join their team. As a Swing Forklift Operator, you will be part of the warehouse department supporting the production process. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, be safety-conscious, and have experience operating a forklift within a warehouse environment.
Job Title: Swing Forklift Operator
Location: Gilroy, CA
Pay Range: $20.16 per hour
What's the Job? Transport incoming freight to inventory from staging areas for storage in the appropriate slots and on the multi-level racks in the assigned warehouse area
Replenish/re-stock pick slots in a timely manner ensuring all safety, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and quality standards are met to maintain the efficient flow of the production process
Perform general housekeeping duties in work area as needed
Remove empty pallets, cardboard packing, and strapping to the proper area or receptacles
Perform other related duties as assigned
What's Needed? High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience Required
Complete Forklift/Power jack training and obtain certificate; Stand up Fork Lift is required
Prior warehouse environment experience
Bending, twisting, standing, sitting, lifting
Background Check - Criminal - Local
