Job Duties and Responsibilities:
In this role you will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and testing of Physical Access Control, CCTV, PSIM and Integrated Electronic Systems.
This position is maintained at a single work location in the Washington D.C. area.
Candidates must be flexible in schedule, neat in appearance, able to communicate professionally with customers and coworkers.
Punctuality, attendance, a willingness to learn, and an ability to work well with others are key to success in this role.
Essential responsibilities and activities include but are not limited to:
Manage physical security system support to meet service level agreementsAnalyze physical security system performance and recommend improvementsResolve complex system issues for physical security systems and networksTriage customer support calls, providing Tier 1 help desk support and Tier 2 escalation as neededCommunicate with customers, manufacturers, vendors, and technical specialistsTrain system users and other system support personnel as neededAnalyze and modify preventive maintenance checklists for system changesTroubleshoot system performance issues and implement corrective actionsPerform preventive maintenance actions including system back-ups, error log reviews, database size analysis, and integrity checksOrganize and prepare detailed documentation of system performance, including service request records, and analysisPerform desktop hardware and operating system set-up, imaging software loading, and antivirus updatesImplementation of Server and Workstation patching and STIG remediationPerform all duties with minimal direct supervision Qualifications: Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and may meet eligibility requirements, including U.S.
Citizenship, for access to classified information; active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph clearance REQUIREDEducation: Computer Science, Engineering Degree or a Related Technical DisciplineMaster's Degree and 3Years of progressive experience orBachelor's Degree and 5Years of progressive experience orAssociates Degree and 8Years of progressive experience orHS Diploma or Equivalent and 10Years of progressive experience Requires system administrator experience in performing triage on system problems, resolving the system problems, analyzing system data to prevent problems, implementing new workstations, and system extensions.Requires 2years of experience programming/administrating Physical Access Control Systems.Requires previous experience at effectively managing teams of 2 -10 employees.Requires an understanding of Windows patching and vulnerability remediation.Requires advanced knowledge of Windows active directory hierarchy and implementation.Requires basic knowledge of large scale networking, VLANS and routing.Requires reliable attendance at customer site during work hours required by customer.Requires the ability to work flexible shifts that include nights, weekends and holidays as needed.Requires minimal travelRequires minimum of SecurityCertification, CASP, or CISSP certification preferredStrong oral, written and presentation skills.Demonstrated background working with multidisciplinary teams.Demonstrated time management and organization skills to meet deadlines and quality objectives.Strong MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.
