Title: System Administrator Location: 100% Remote Duration: 12+ months contract NOTE: Only W2 Any Independent Visa is Fine. Job Description: The OCI Migration team is facilitating the movement of customers from legacy environments to our second-generation cloud. This team owns the lifecycle management of critical and complex Oracle proprietary products like Oracle Exadata Oracle Exalogic and Oracle ZFS Appliances in legacy cloud environments across the globe facilitating the movement from Oracle Classic infrastructure to OCI and the decommission of legacy infrastructure. Required Skills Linux Systems Administration experience in medium to large scale environments with more experience in infrastructure responsibilities. Data Center experience Experience installing and configuring Linux esp. Oracle Linux Kickstart and PXE boot experience Understanding of NFS DNS DHCP and LDAP services Knowledge of Fiber Channel iSCSI or InfiniBand Experience with OVM KVM or other OS virtualization solutions Experience in Data Center Operations such as network cabling and inventory hardware Curiosity and willingness to learn new skills.
